and make you through your notes rummage
Lumbar punctures stink a lot
because they are not all we've got
Lumbar punctures are very old
from an era of medicine very cold
Lumbar punctures seek to strain
the eyes who search again and again
Lumbar punctures make a hole
or more depending on the common goal
Lumbar punctures are insufficient
to understand the brain, Most Proficient
Lumbar punctures are a drain
to our economy and to my Spirit
A lumbar puncture is not from God
So do not do it and do fear it

Turkey Tail Tea

Sitting with my Turkey Tail mushroom slice this morning and thinking of how people used to and still do study the brain by taking slices of it.  Wondering if God threw me this mushroom for tea time this morning to remind me and encourage me as an amateur neurologist and herbalist to continue my ministry that transgressing the dura mater is always wrong.
